nah he got fired in a REAL crappy low way. Jerry didn't even do it himself ( reminescent of the way he apparently broke up with girlfriends ). He had Parrish call him and ask him where he should send his drums to.

no shit huh BD? That's a major problem I have with the what would Jerry Do crowd. Not only is it lame to speak for the guy ( or to follow anyone like some helpless sheep or lemming ), but I have a hard time listening to people go ballistic that the remaining live members have recentely taken political stances citing Jerry as some sort of reference. Hey I like the apolitical nature of the band but not taking a stand and avoiding confrontation has it's negative affects too. I mean talk about being chicken shit.

Saw Jefferson Starship and TC, they blow. Washed up and not much talent in the band... just goes to show some thing are better left alone. Where is the dignity, where at the original members? They are not all dead, they just won't have anything to do with with these washed up wannabe's....

" Where is the dignity, where at the original members?"

I saw the Airplane reunion and that was a joke, they freakin had all sorts of supporting hacks - from what I understand Jorma and Jack weren't too interested in practicing with the band. In fact Jorma even lied down looking bored and not playing during Balin doing Miracles ( not saying I blame him but indicitive that the reunion was going nowhere ).

Saw Jefferson Starship with Cassady and Balin and that sucked too. Only good part was Balin hitting the crowd up for some famous alaska smoke - you should have seen the fairgoers who yanked their kids out of there. Must have been expecting to hear we built this city or sara.
